On September 18, 2019, the ucrwpa wireless network will be renamed to UCR-SECURE, as a part of Information Technology Solutions ongoing efforts to improve our campus wireless infrastructure, security, and access. Learn More

  1. New campus Virtual Private Network (VPN): Learn how to connect.

In Fall, 2019 (specific date forthcoming) ITS is rolling out a new Virtual Private Network (VPN). The new VPN (Palo Alto GlobalProtect) will replace the current VPN (Cisco AnyConnect) for general campus users. Learn More

  1. Emergency Notification Service (ENS): How will it impact you?

In Fall, 2019 (specific date forthcoming), all UCR faculty, staff, and students will be asked to confirm their mobile phone number on file for mobile/SMS text messages from the UCR Emergency Notification Service (ENS). Learn More
