Doodle Pro Users at UCR,
Doodle, the company behind the online meeting scheduling tool, recently announced that they are introducing a new licensing structure. The Doodle Pro Plan is going away in December 2026. If you wish to continue using Doodle, you may opt for the free version or sign up for the Team Plan before your Pro Plan expires.
Once the Pro Plan is discontinued in December, the only remaining plans available for individuals are the free version and the Team Plan. Doodle strongly encourages Pro Plan users to consider upgrading to the Team Plan, as it offers advanced features not available on the free version. Please note that UCR Information Technology Solutions does not offer an Enterprise Plan for the campus.
It is also important to know that the free version of Doodle is not going away. This is a good alternative if you would like to continue using Doodle, but without the extra cost.
To learn more about each available plan’s features, please visit Doodle’s plan comparison page (while the Pro Plan is still reflected in Doodle’s website, it is set to sunset soon).
If you opt for the free version of Doodle once your Pro Plan expires, no further action is required on your part.
If you would like to upgrade to a Team Plan, please reach out to your department / campus unit’s procurement team. Doodle Team Plan licenses are purchased on a departmental basis.
Your unit’s procurement team may get in touch with UCR’s Doodle representative, Jack Adams, at jack.adams@doodle.com, to purchase a Team Plan license. Visit the Doodle website to learn more about the benefits and pricing options for Doodle’s Team Plan.
Sincerely,
