The Mulesoft to Micronaut Migration Team is celebrated for successfully migrating critical business integrations that support the Business & Financial Services (BFS) Accounting department and their daily operations within Oracle Financials.

This project was a significant undertaking aimed at retiring technical debt. By moving from Mulesoft to Micronaut, a modern framework for building software applications, the team improved the long-term health of UCR’s integration ecosystem.

The team engaged in deep technical investigation, demonstrating exceptional effort in reverse-engineering the existing Mulesoft integrations to ensure all business logic was accurately captured and rewritten.

The success of this migration relied heavily on the team’s ability to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and the practical needs of the campus. The team worked hand-in-hand with BFS functional stakeholders to facilitate rigorous testing and validate that the functionality met all accounting standards. This high level of transparency and coordination was essential in gaining buy-in from partners and ensuring a seamless transition.

Despite the complexity of the multi-month migration project, the team met a critical deadline, ensuring that business operations for BFS remained uninterrupted. Their dedication, technical expertise, and customer collaboration were essential to the project’s success, ultimately improving the long-term health of UCR’s integration ecosystem.
