ITS is proud to recognize the Covid Module for PnC Team as the Fall 2022 Team of the Quarter! The members of the team include Adam Booker, Adelaida Diaz, Tulga Erarslan, Edwin Melgar-Mejia, Michelle Tabula, Joe Trietsch, Brandon Ayers, Alex Gupta, and Joe Parent. We thank the team for their hard work and dedication to the project's completion.
Despite challenges, the team worked diligently to centralize several processes to one system and properly configure PnC by Fall 2022 to have it functioning by the start of the new academic year.
“The COVID module for PnC team did an excellent job navigating several challenges and obstacles with this deployment, to successfully implement the desired configurations to PnC by the time of Fall 2022, Student Move-In,” says Rehan Tahir. “The COVID module for PnC helped centralize several processes into one system, and helped combine Employee and Student immunization and compliance records into one system.”
ITS is grateful to have employees such as Tulga and Edwin who were able to successfully adapt and manage changes within the project. They became Subject Matter Experts on the PnC platform and supported other UCR departments with the new change. In addition, Tulga was able to review legacy configurations and ensure that they fit into the standard of other UC’s.
“During this engagement, the team was able to include contributions from Tulga and Edwin, successfully allowing for the consolidation of several in-flux and changing requirements from the COVID-19 response team,” says Patrick Wagman. “They were also able to make time to become SMEs on the PnC platform, allowing Student Systems to become self-sufficient with administration and support. Tulga was successfully onboarded as an administrator and could not only support the implementation of new requirements but also review legacy configurations to bring them to into standard with other UC campuses.”
Michelle was an asset to the team as she assisted them with Qualtrics survey responses. Adam Booker was also vital to the team as he provided useful input on remote testing locations for students. Adelaida Diaz and Joe Trietsch also supported the team through their exceptional strategy and leadership.
“Michelle Tabula was brought into the project to help assist with Qualtrics survey responses, with little context or background, and was able to quickly get up to speed to help the project team,” says Rehan. “Adam Booker provided excellent support supporting the student move-in at remote testing locations. Lastly, Adelaida Diaz and Joe Trietsch played critical roles as the technical product owner and technical project manager and helped the project team by providing overall project strategy, overcoming obstacles, and ensuring that the project was delivered on time and successfully.”
Thank you, COVID Module for PnC project team, for your commitment to this project! ITS is appreciative to have such motivated and talented individuals as part of our team.
