The successful implementation of IAMRiverside is critical to data protection and the efficiency of the University’s user account and system access processes. Previously, UCR utilized homegrown IAM solutions. As the campus has continued to grow and needs have evolved, these custom legacy systems were unable to scale and began posing risks to campus information security.
On March 21, 2023, ITS launched IAMRiverside. The new identity and access management solution provides the framework needed to modernize and standardize the University’s data security and user account lifecycles.
