The ITS HRMS Team was recognized by Central Human Resources for their outstanding work in the implementation of the new Human Resources Management System (HRMS) Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and the new Jobs Portal. The dedication, expertise, and attentiveness showcased by the team was crucial in the effort to provide the campus with updated HR technology.

Alexandra Rollins, Director of Employee and Org Development Programs, applauded the team's technical prowess and soft skills, emphasizing their ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. Their attention to detail was crucial in aligning technical requirements with communication strategies, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.

Alexandra shared how the team’s guidance and commitment to client satisfaction have been invaluable to the smooth implementation of the new system:

“Their patience and support have been invaluable as I navigated through the intricacies of the system, providing guidance and assistance every step of the way. Their proactive approach to collaboration shines through, especially in instances like when we needed to update website verbiage regarding federated logins and user profiles. They took the initiative to schedule a meeting, ensuring alignment between technical requirements and communication strategies. Furthermore, their exceptional ability to listen attentively to our needs and concerns, coupled with their efficiency in getting things done promptly, has greatly contributed to the success of our projects.”

Lorena Velasquez, HR Consultant, commended the team's role in transforming HR processes through the HRMS, streamlining operations, and providing a user-friendly interface for managing HR tasks. Their dedication, client service, and technical capabilities have been instrumental in the system's ongoing success and scalability.

Lorena praised the team’s proactive approach and problem-solving attitude:

“The HR/APO team [members] are professional, thoughtful partners who provide solutions, rather than roadblocks, to address their clients’ needs. They are timely with their responses regardless of their workload and can be counted on to meet their commitments. They are thoughtful when offering solutions by asking appropriate questions to translate the client’s needs into technological solutions.”

Emma Geach, Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, emphasized the team's innovative approach in developing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Jobs Portal, addressing the campus community's needs for modern and efficient recruitment processes:

"This team has developed a system that will benefit the campus community, as it is a system that will move the campus recruitment process forward in a user-friendly and innovative manner. Throughout the project, I found each and every one of the developers to not only have excellent programming skills, but they also were very thoughtful and dedicated to the project. The developers researched other organizations’ job boards to find the most innovative features and best practices that other companies were using. They used that knowledge to create a more user-friendly UCR Jobs Portal with a clean aesthetic and modern features."

Their creative ideas, attention to detail, and responsiveness during testing and implementation have resulted in a seamless user experience, with positive feedback from campus users regarding functionality and aesthetics.
