ITS proudly recognizes the Financial & Administrative Support Team as the Summer 2024 Team of the Quarter! The team is comprised of: 

The Financial & Administrative Support team was nominated by ITS Chief Financial & Administrative Officer Shelley Gupta, who praised their ability to adapt to UCR’s new financial applications and their perseverance to complete fiscal close on time.

The team faced the challenge of completing fiscal close using unfamiliar applications, which included Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Budget, Kuali, Looker, Non-Salary Cost Transfers, and Web Recharge. Their hard work ensured that ITS’ fiscal close process for FY 2023 to 2024 was completed on time and without any major issues.

“I would like to commend the Financial & Administrative Support team of ITS for all their hard work during fiscal close,” Shelley shared. “Despite frustrations, their dedication to learning and navigating the new UCR financial tools prevailed, and their tenacity should be rewarded.”

The team’s efforts directly benefited not only ITS, but the campus as a whole. Completing the  fiscal close process on time is critical for maintaining financial accuracy and accountability across UCR. Their ability to overcome challenges, master new systems, and collaborate effectively exemplifies the high standard of excellence within ITS.

Shelley added, “This team’s patience and perseverance over the past fiscal year were key to ITS’ success. I am so thankful for their commitment and hard work.”
