One of Dalia’s most notable contributions is her project management work on the Google Workspace storage project, which addressed the challenge of reducing the university’s cloud storage usage while maintaining a seamless user experience. Under Dalia’s guidance, the team successfully met its deadline for compliance with Google’s new storage limits, all while doing their best to minimize disruption to faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Jeremy Fisher, Executive Director of Infrastructure, gave “major kudos” to Dalia for leading the Google Workspace storage project, stating “Dalia did a fantastic job in leading this effort—she was tenacious on a very difficult project. She was a large part of why our team met ITS’ goals.”

Her ability to form strong partnerships are key  to the smooth execution of multiple projects. “Dalia’s ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships has been a cornerstone of her success,” said Kathy. Dalia’s dedication to customer service goes beyond project deliverables. She also consistently provides outstanding support to both her colleagues in ITS and external stakeholders. Kathy proudly shared, “Dalia’s reputation for excellence is evident in the enthusiastic feedback received from external partners, including those involved in the Graduate Student Financial System project, who sought her involvement based on previous positive experiences.”

Patrick Wagman also expressed his appreciation, stating “Impressively, Dalia skillfully manages complex projects concurrently without compromising quality or efficiency.”

In all her efforts, Dalia exemplifies what it means to be a professional and dependable leader that’s committed to the success of UCR students, faculty, and staff.
